Wk 10: Hope Against Hope

What do you do when you find yourself in a seemingly hopeless situation? You remind yourself every day that your faith is NOT in the temporary circumstances of this world, but your faith is in your Sovereign Savior. Jesus is the only legitimate source of hope.

The LAW and FAITH are eternally connected gifts from God. The Law shows us our NEED FOR faith.Faith gives us the ABILITY TO uphold the law. To neglect one is to neglect the fullness of the Gospel.

God is faithful even when we are not. This truth is not a license to sin, but an invitation to serve the sovereign Savior.

Any person or religion that tries to work its way to God will not work. Righteousness (a right standing with God) is a gift of God through the finished work of Christ.

If we find ourselves looking down our noses at others for what they are doing it is only because we have taken our eyes off of the cross of Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.

Wk 3: The Power of Salvation

The only POWER that is able to save you and set you free is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Wk 2: Prayers of a Pastor
