Wk 6: He is Faithful

God is faithful even when we are not. This truth is not a license to sin, but an invitation to serve the sovereign Savior.

Wk 5: Religion Fails

Any person or religion that tries to work its way to God will not work. Righteousness (a right standing with God) is a gift of God through the finished work of Christ.

Wk 4: God’s Kindness

If we find ourselves looking down our noses at others for what they are doing it is only because we have taken our eyes off of the cross of Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.

Wk 3: The Power of Salvation

The only POWER that is able to save you and set you free is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Wk 2: Prayers of a Pastor

I am praying that this year you and I DEEPEN our relationship with Jesus Christ. 14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family[c] in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Stand Alone: Of First Importance

The greatest thing in which we can look back on and the greatest thing we can hope towards is the Gospel: the good news that Jesus Christ came to save sinners like you and me for the glory of God.
