The Church of Eleven22

In Matthew 26, Jesus moves closer to the cross, showing us what true surrender, obedience and faithfulness look like. From the Last Supper to the Garden of Gethsemane, we see that following Jesus is not about relying on our own strength, but trusting Him even when obedience is difficult.
Through the failures of Judas, Peter and the disciples, we are reminded that our worst moments do not have the final word. Jesus remains faithful even when we fall short. As He prays, “Not as I will, but as You will,” Jesus shows us what it means to fully surrender to the Father and faithfully walk toward the cross.

What happens to your faith when God doesn’t do what you think a good God should do?
The gospel doesn’t promise a life without pain. It gives us hope in the middle of it. In 2 Samuel 12, David faces unimaginable loss and has a decision to make: will his pain cause him to stop seeking God, or lead him into deeper trust and surrender?
Grace doesn’t disappear when pain enters our lives, and God’s character doesn’t change when our circumstances do.The gospel includes suffering, but it ends in resurrection. Because the tomb is empty, pain does not get the final word.

Jesus does not call us to halfway surrender. He calls us to go all in.
In Luke 18, the rich young ruler had everything the world said he needed, but when Jesus asked him to surrender what he was holding onto, he walked away. This message challenges us to examine what may be keeping us from fully following Jesus and reminds us that nothing this world offers compares to the life found in Him.
Going all in will cost you something, but Jesus is worth everything.

In Matthew 26, just hours before the cross, Jesus brings three of His closest friends with Him to pray, yet they can’t stay awake with Him. Night 1 of Saturated was a call for us to wake up, get on our knees and seek the Lord.
What if we spent less time telling God what to do and more time listening to what He’s saying? When was the last time you slowed down long enough to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit?
The world needs a Church that is awake in the garden. May we be people who seek His presence, listen for His voice and are obedient to what He asks of us today.

In Matthew 26, we see two very different responses to Jesus. 
Mary pours out what is most valuable to her in extravagant worship, while Judas chooses his own way when Jesus does not give him what he wants.
Religion asks what we can get from Jesus. Redemption recognizes what Jesus has already done for us and responds by surrendering everything to Him. There is no middle ground. 
We can live life our own way, or we can fall at the feet of Jesus and pour out our lives for the One who poured out His life for us.

What does the Bible really say about the end times, and how should we live knowing Jesus is coming back?
In Matthew 24 and 25, Jesus teaches about His return, the signs of the end times and the importance of being ready. While Christians may disagree on the details of how the end times will unfold, we can agree on what matters most: Jesus is coming back, salvation is found in Him alone and the invitation is open right now.
Don’t get so caught up in predicting when Jesus will return that you miss the point. The question isn’t whether you have every detail figured out. The question is whether you know Him, love Him and have personally surrendered your life to the lordship of Jesus Christ.

What happens when we look like we’re following God on the outside, but our hearts are far from Him?
In Matthew 23, Jesus confronts the Pharisees for their hypocrisy, legalism and self righteousness, exposing the danger of doing all the right religious things without truly loving God. 
Following Jesus isn’t about how well we look, how closely we follow the rules or how much we do for Him. More than anything, God wants our hearts, and everything else should flow from our love for Him.

Following Jesus isn’t a negotiation. We don’t get to set the terms, hold onto certain parts of our lives or simply swap a few habits. Jesus came for our hearts, and His invitation is to surrender everything.
In this message from Matthew 22, we’re reminded that the question isn’t just what we believe about Jesus, but whether He is truly Lord of our lives. When we stop playing games, stop negotiating and give it all back to Him, that’s where true life is found.

What happens when religion gets in the way of redemption?
 In Matthew 21:23–22:14, Jesus confronts the religious leaders through three powerful parables that expose the difference between simply looking religious and truly surrendering to Him. We see that salvation cannot be earned through good works or religious activity. 
The invitation to the Kingdom is extended to everyone, but we must respond with repentance, faith, and surrender to Jesus.

What does your life reveal about whether you are truly following Jesus?
In Matthew 21, Jesus exposes the difference between simply looking religious and living a faith that produces real fruit. Through His entry into Jerusalem, the cleansing of the temple, and the cursing of the fig tree, we see that following Jesus is more than showing up on Sunday or knowing the right answers. 
It is a life of obedience, surrender, and genuine devotion to Him.
